About Pastor Jeff
Meet Rev. Jeff St. Clair, your pastor at Longleaf Church!
Meet Rev. Jeff St. Clair!
Jeff is an Ordained Elder in the Florida Annual Conference, where he currently serves on the Northeast District Committee on Ordained Ministry and the Conference Fresh Expressions Steering Committee.
Jeff also was the chair of Imagine No Malaria Florida, which raised nearly $2 million dollars for Imagine No Malaria. Jeff received his Bachelor of Science in Education from California University of Pennsylvania with a dual certification in Special Education/Elementary Education.
Jeff accepted the call to ministry in his second year of teaching school. He then continued his studies at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, where he received his Master of Divinity. Jeff was named a Lewis Fellow at Wesley Theological Seminary.
Jeff has a strong faith in Jesus Christ and desires for people of all ages to enter into a joy-filled relationship with Christ. Jeff truly enjoys preaching, teaching and sharing faith in new ways to grow the family of God closer to the Lord and to each other through missions, serving, worship and outreach.
In 2016, God laid on Jeff’s heart to begin a Fresh Expression, “Kayaking with Jeff,” a form of church that meets on the waterways of Northeast Florida. This Fresh Expression is now known as “Kayaking with Jeff and Alex” and since it’s beginning has seen other kayaking/SUP Fresh Expressions begin throughout Florida.
Jeff has worked with other annual conferences in training clergy to think of new ways to be the church. The St. Clair family consists of Jeff’s wife Jennifer, a Medical Review Nurse (RN) for Florida Blue and their three children Aaron, Alayna, and Abby. Jeff enjoys kayaking, coaching and playing softball, and exercising at TFW (Training For Warriors) in St. Johns. Jeff is honored, as he says, to serve and lead the people of Longleaf Church and Mandarin United Methodist Church.
