Children's Ministry

To transform the world by teaching children, through unconditional love, to become life-long disciples of Jesus Christ in a prayerful scripture based environment.

Nursery + Preschool

(Birth-Pre-K) Our nursery provides a safe, clean, and loving environment for your baby during our services. We are ready to help your little one grow and learn!

Elementary School

(Kindergarten-5th Grade) Your children will build friendships, have fun and learn about Jesus’ love for them through creative lessons, games, and songs. Your child’s safety is ensured through dependable, background-checked leaders. Our goal is that your child will leave every week knowing Jesus loves them, we believe in them, and that church can be fun.

What are the Children Learning?

Elementary

October continues our year-long (August-May) journey through the Bible as we look at God’s Big Story. This month we will discover that we may not know the answer to every question or problem, but God does. When we look at God’s Big Story, we can see that we can turn to Him for wisdom whenever we need help.
  • Week One: Samuel Anoints David (1 Samuel 16:1-13)
    • Bottom Line: God helps you make the wise choice.
  • Week Two: David and the Psalms (Psalm 1:1-4, Supporting: Psalm 23:1-2; 8:1; 18:2)
    • Bottom Line: If you want to be wise, focus on God.
  • Week Three: Solomon Chooses Wisdom (1 Kings 3:4-15, Supporting: Proverbs 15:1; 3:5-6; 17:17)
    • Bottom Line: You can ask God for wisdom.
  • Week Four: The Kings (1 & 2 Kings )
    • Bottom Line: Be wise because your choices matter.
Memory Verse: It is much better to get wisdom than gold. It is much better to choose understanding than silver. Proverbs 16:16, NIrV

Preschool

Deep down, everybody wants to be a super kid, and nothing defines super kid better than the word ‘brave.’ Being brave is a lot easier to say than do—for preschoolers and grownups. What we do to be brave—and Who can help us be brave—is what this month is all about. We can pray, like Esther, and be brave. We can remember that God is with us, like David, and be brave. We can trust what God says, like Gideon, and be brave. And when we pray, remember, and trust, God can help us be brave so we can help others, like Abigail.
We want our preschoolers to grow up knowing that when they are afraid, God can help them be brave, and that is what makes them a super kid. Join us as we pray for our preschoolers and their families, as well as those of us who lead them. Pray that we will look to God and God alone when we are afraid and have to do hard things, because God can help us be brave.
  • Week One: Esther (Esther 2:2–8:17)
    • Story Focus: I can pray and be brave.
  • Week Two: David and Goliath (1 Samuel 17:1-50)
    • Story Focus: I can be brave because God is with me.
  • Week Three: Gideon (Judges 6-7)
    • Story Focus: God helps me be brave when I’m afraid.
  • Week Four: Abigail (1 Samuel 25:1-35)
    • Story Focus: God helps me be brave so I can help others.
Memory Verse: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid … for the LORD your God goes with you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV
