Children's Ministry

To transform the world by teaching children, through unconditional love, to become life-long disciples of Jesus Christ in a prayerful scripture based environment.

Nursery + Preschool

(Birth-Pre-K) Our nursery provides a safe, clean, and loving environment for your baby during our services. We are ready to help your little one grow and learn!

Elementary School

(Kindergarten-5th Grade) Your children will build friendships, have fun and learn about Jesus’ love for them through creative lessons, games, and songs. Your child’s safety is ensured through dependable, background-checked leaders. Our goal is that your child will leave every week knowing Jesus loves them, we believe in them, and that church can be fun.

What are the Children Learning?

Elementary

September continues our year-long (August-May) journey through the Bible as we look at God’s Big Story. This month we will focus on the connection between courage and God’s character, as shown through God’s Big Story. Some kids may believe that being afraid means they can’t be brave. We will remind them that if something was easy, they wouldn’t need God’s help—and it wouldn’t take courage. God wants us to stay connected to Him so that He can give us courage to do hard things whenever we need it.
  • Week One: Moses (Exodus 3-6:12, 7-12:42, 13:17-14:31)
    • Bottom Line:  God can give you courage when you don’t feel ready
  • Week Two: Joshua and the Spies (Numbers 13–14:35)
    • Bottom Line: God can give you courage when others are afraid
  • Week Three: Rahab Helps the Spies (Joshua 2, 6:22-25)
    • Bottom Line: God can give you courage to help someone in need
  • Week Four: Ruth (Ruth 1, 2–4)
    • Bottom Line: God can give you courage when you don’t know what’s next
Memory Verse: When I’m afraid, I put my trust in you. Psalm 56:3 NIrV

Preschool

God made me. God loves me. And God has plans for me. That is the foundation we want to begin to construct and create for our preschoolers this September. We want them to grow up knowing God has plans for them that include good things for them to do. We want them to know they can trust God’s plans and that His plans are always best. And just like we can wait for birthdays and Christmas, we can wait on God’s plans too!
Each of our preschoolers are building their own story with their lives. It is our hope and prayer that they will choose to build it with God by trusting that His plans are best. With God, we know they will construct and create a story that will leave a legacy of faith for generations to come.
  • Week One: Adam and Eve (Genesis 1:27-28; 2:15, 19-20)
    • Story Focus: God has good things for me to do
  • Week Two: Baby Moses (Exodus 2:1-10)
    • Story Focus: I can trust God’s plans
  • Week Three: King Josiah (2 Chronicles 34)

  • Week Four: Abraham and Sarah (Genesis 12:1-3; 15:5-6; 18:1-14; 21:1-7)
    • Story Focus: I can wait for God’s plans
