On Ash Wednesday, we begin our forty-day journey toward Easter. Marking our foreheads with ashes we remember that, like Adam, we are made of dust and will return to dust. At the same time, the dust traces the life-giving cross indelibly marked on our foreheads at baptism. We invite you to join us for Ashes to Go on February 22 from 8:30-10:00 AM at the Shoppes of Aberdeen (3655 Longleaf Pine Pkwy. St. Johns, FL 32259 – Look for the Green Tent).

Longleaf Church is hosting Ashes to Go, Wednesday, February 17th, from 3:00-4:00 pm across the street from Freedom Crossing Academy (1365 Shetland Drive St. Johns, FL 32259). Ashes and instructions will be in a Ziplock bag that you can take with you and impose at home. Both campuses are welcome to stop by and pick up. We begin our Lenten journey on Ash Wednesday and we invite you to be a part of this journey.
