Good Friday Service
Join us for a deeply moving joint Good Friday Tenebrae service as we reflect on the somber and solemn occasion of Jesus’ crucifixion. This powerful service will be held in collaboration between our Mandarin and Longleaf campuses and will bring together our community in a spirit of unity and reflection.
The Tenebrae service is a unique and meaningful tradition that involves the gradual extinguishing of candles, representing the growing darkness and despair of Jesus’ final hours on the cross. As we move through the service, readings and hymns will guide us through the story of Jesus’ suffering, death, and burial.
Through this service, we will be reminded of the incredible sacrifice that Jesus made for us and the tremendous love and forgiveness that he showed, even in the face of unimaginable pain and suffering. We will reflect on the significance of Good Friday, not just as a moment in history, but as a representation of the immense hope and promise that Jesus brings to the world.
As we gather together for this joint service, we will come together in a spirit of community and togetherness, to reflect on the powerful message of love and sacrifice that Good Friday represents. We invite you to join us for this special occasion, and to experience the Tenebrae service in all its beauty and solemnity.
This Good Friday Tenebrae service is open to all, and we invite you to come and experience the power and beauty of this special day. Bring your family and friends and join us for a memorable worship experience that will uplift your spirit and strengthen your faith. We look forward to seeing you there!
